This is the perfect trek if you only have a couple days and are already in the Pokhara valley. Dhampus is a small village perched high atop a hillside. On clear days, its backdrop is the beautiful Annapurna range. It is just a short 45 minute drive from Pokhara to the start of the trek.
You will hike along hand laid stones and will be surrounded by remote village life. You can stop for breakfast and take in the view at Dhampus before continuing onto the Australian Camp. The Australian camp offers a comfortable campsite or tea houses where you can stay for the night and visit with other trekkers. You can wake early to enjoy sunrise before descending an hour to the main road and returning Pokhara.
