Pokhara-Lakeside is Nepal’s second largest town.  The town is nestled around Fewa Lake which sits at the foothills of some of Nepal’s most popular trekking. Lakeside is home to many outdoor adventure sports and is scattered with bars and restaurants where you will find European tourists resting before or after their treks.

One of the most popular adventure sports offered here in Lakeside is paragliding.  Paragliders take off at Sarangkot (1,600 meters), 800 meters above Fewa Lake. On clear days, you can see views of the Annapurna snowy peaks as you glide high above Fewa Lake.  From the bus ride up Sarangkot’s winding roads, to the landing just meters away from Fewa Lake, this is a popular and exciting sport to experience.
